Ethans Class Trip to Science Camp

Ethan just got home from Science camp with his fifth grade class.  He stayed in a cabin with two of his best friends...he did manage to shower everyday, but forgot to brush his teeth!

Tad's class trip to San Diego

Tad went to San Diego on an Oceanography trip with his sixth grade class in late April.  They went whale watching and fishing, but of course Sea World...and its roller coasters were the best!  The real education came in having to take money and budget for his weeks worth of meals!  I called several times a day to check on Tad and see "what they were doing", thank goodness for cell phones. 

Sydney Wins District Writing Contest

Sydney recieved a ribbon and a certificate for a short story that she wrote in class. The district has 16,000+ students and less than 50 won, only four in second grade! She wants to be a writer when she grows up...but she already is, this is the second time she has been published!

Troy's 7th Birthday

Troy has always loved Monster trucks since he was little.  Gravedigger has always been his favorite.  For his birthday he went to Monster Jam.

Sydney and Andrew

Sydney and Andrew tell everyone that they are twins.  Andrew is Sydney's cousin that was born one day or literally hours before her.

Sydney is 8!

Sydney celebrated her birthday.  She finally got her own pet hampster which she named Scamper.  Since Sydney was very small she has been asking for a pet, we told her she could get one when she turned eight.....foolish us that seemed so far away!
