We went up to Payson this weekend. The kids had a lot of fun catching crawdads!
Sydney as Lana Ladybug
Sydney played the lead in her play at school as Lana Ladybug. She sang the only solo in play and did great!!! We are so proud of her.
Ethans Class Trip to Science Camp
Ethan just got home from Science camp with his fifth grade class. He stayed in a cabin with two of his best friends...he did manage to shower everyday, but forgot to brush his teeth!

Tad's class trip to San Diego
Tad went to San Diego on an Oceanography trip with his sixth grade class in late April. They went whale watching and fishing, but of course Sea World...and its roller coasters were the best! The real education came in having to take money and budget for his weeks worth of meals! I called several times a day to check on Tad and see "what they were doing", thank goodness for cell phones.
Sydney Wins District Writing Contest
Sydney recieved a ribbon and a certificate for a short story that she wrote in class. The district has 16,000+ students and less than 50 won, only four in second grade! She wants to be a writer when she grows up...but she already is, this is the second time she has been published!
